How to Make a Packaging Brief Actionable
Structure, materials, printing, accessories and packing form a reviewable proposal.
Start with the Product and Use
Define whether packaging is for retail, gifting or transport, then identify contents, dimensions, load requirements and opening.
Define Artwork and Finishing
Specify paper, weight, colours, printing, handles, ribbons and finishes. Provide final artwork and references for customisation, and review a sample.
Review Actual Packaging Components
List the boxes, bags, plastic bags, tape and labels actually used. Update the information when structures or materials change.
